Viareggio is
beautiful in February when there is the Carnival of Italy and
Europe,
with majestic parades of floats and colorful festivities in the various
districts.
In March and April, the days grow longer, the sun is warmer, you
can enjoy
regenerating walks in the pine-forest of the Natural Park of Migliarino
San Rossore Massaciuccoli,
where excursions on bikes and horses are organized. From May you can bathe in the sea. From the “House
in the Pines” you
can arrive at the beach after
a fifteen minutes walk through the pine-forest. Once there you have
the choice of bars, restaurants
and bathing establishments on the right, or free beach and wild dunes
and beyond the estuary of
the rivers Serchio and Arno. Viareggio is an ideal point for walks
